The Public Hearing was held on August 23, 2018. FDOT has extended the Public Comment Period. All statements or exhibits postmarked on or before September 10, 2018, will become part of the public hearing record.
On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, you are invited to a Public Hearing scheduled for Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale at Cypress Creek located at 555 NW 62 Street, Grand Cypress Ballroom, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. The Public Hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. as an open house. A formal presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a comment period. Persons wishing to submit written statements or exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Nadir Rodrigues, PE, FDOT Project Manager, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. All statements or exhibits postmarked on or before September 4, 2018, will become part of the public hearing record.
In the event that the Public Hearing cannot be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 due to severe weather or other unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the same time and place.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT.
